The new champion is very happy to have regained the title, and challenged both in the octagon and in the press conference the champion Demetrious Johnson.
"You can't run away from me. Let's make some money. I'm not a big bantamweight. I usually weigh 150 pounds. But I'll stay slim. I can make flyweight, although it will be a change to my lifestyle."
When Cody Garbrandt got injured and had to cancel the fight with TJ Dillashaw, UFC tried to put together a fight between him and flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. However, Johnson refused, so he had another opponent.
