Battle of Los Angeles (BOLA) is an annual tournament held by the promotion Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, which aims to find the best independent wrestler, and over the years has gained a great deal of prestige in the non-mainstream wrestling scene.
The 2016 edition featured some of the best competitors in the circuit, but no one could defeat current Bullet Club member Marty "The Villain" Scurll, who defeated Will Ospreay and Trevor Lee in the tournament final to emerge as the winner.
PWG has started providing information about this year's BOLA, and did so by revealing the first confirmed participant. It is the Mexican wrestler Flamita, one of the best high-flyers today.

In the latest edition of the competition, the Mexican wrestlers who stole the fans' attention were the Lucha Brothers, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix. The participants accompanying Flamita have not been confirmed yet, but it would be interesting to see a collision of masked compatriots in this edition of the Battle of Los Angeles tournament.
