The second wave of the new coronavirus COVID-19 is alarmingly affecting all sectors in Europe. France is no exception, and its soccer tournament is also affected. After the government took sanitary measures against the resurgence of Sars COV-2, the French Football Federation decided to suspend all soccer activities in all categories, both in male and female soccer.
"All the games that cannot be played during this period will be rescheduled for later dates, depending on the evolution of the health situation," states the FFF statement.
It should be noted that the France National Team has not been affected by this measure, as it has upcoming games scheduled for the following FIFA dates.
