The Peruvian forward Yordy Reyna returns to training with Vancouver Whitecaps FC after quarantine
Vancouver, Canada - Peruvian forward Yordy Reyna has returned to training with Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Canada. This comes after completing a mandatory 14-day quarantine for not following the sanitary protocols to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
"Back in action," wrote Reyna, who returned to the training center of the Canadian institution that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS). The 26-year-old Peruvian shared a short video on Instagram on one of Vancouver's fields.
It is worth mentioning that the Canadian club announced on May 6th that the former Alianza Lima player had to quarantine for 14 days, as he was caught playing pickup soccer with a group of friends, disregarding social distancing measures.
"Yordy Reyna will undergo a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine period (...) The club has informed Major League Soccer of the incident and will remain in contact with the league office as they review the situation," said the Whitecaps.
