England travel to Ireland for their first game under new manager Lee Carsley – and their first since losing the Euro 2024 final.

And the Irish players would love nothing more than to cause a huge upset and deliver a further blow to their old rivals.

The Nations League clash will take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday (September 7) and an army of Irish WAGs could be in attendance.

Evan Ferguson / Gracie May

First up we have teenage sensation Evan Ferguson, who is expected to bag goals for Ireland for years to come.

But the Brighton ace, 19, is also scoring off the field after recently travelling to the city of love with his girlfriend Gracie May.

The pair saw the beautiful sights of Paris back in April and the happy couple shared pictures of their trip.

Gracie is a keen footballer herself and in the summer Ferguson posted more pictures of the two together on another holiday.

He wrote “nice little break” in his caption before one person replied: “Great picture lovely couple wishing you loads of happiness.”

Ferguson was eligible to play for England at one stage and asked by TalkSport last year why he chose Ireland, he replied: “Because I’m Irish.

“There is nothing else to say, I have been asked that question a few times.”

Jake O’Brien / Sophie Lawlor

Everton’s new 6ft 7in defender Jake O’Brien, 22, has been with his loyal partner Sophie Lawlor for four years.

Sophie describes herself as a content creator and makeup artist on Instagram where she has 16,000 followers.

The blonde beauty even relocated to France when O’Brien played for Lyon last year which led to him getting his first Republic of Ireland cap.

The couple are both from County Cork and after signing for Everton in July, Sophie wrote of her boyfriend on Instagram: “Start of a new adventure. Just beyond proud of everything you’re doing.”

And speaking about how they first met, Sophie told CorkBeo: “Jake and I met through family friends. Our aunts are best friends so we would have known each other from a young age but then we went to secondary school together and that’s where our friendship started

“So definitely friends to lovers but I always had a secret crush on him since I was young!”

Nathan Collins / Ella Jayne Howarth

Nathan Collins holds the title of being Ireland’s most expensive ever player, after signing for Brentford from Wolves for £23 million.

The defender, 23, has seen his career in England go from strength to strength and earlier this year he posted pictures from Ibiza alongside his girlfriend.

Her name is Ella Jayne Howarth and he shared images of them embracing in the sunshine.

He savoured the ‘R & R’ getaway with the attractive blonde who replied to the post saying: “Love you sooo much.”

She also runs her own Instagram account with 1,514 followers where she posts glamorous insights of her lavish trips abroad.

Will Smallbone / Sofia Lepore

It has been a few months to remember for Will Smallbone, who got promoted to the Premier League with Southampton – before proposing to his partner in Los Angeles.

Thankfully for Smallbone, his stunning bride-to-be, Sofia Lepore, said yes.

After posing pictures of the special moment, fellow Ireland international Michael Obafemi replied: “My boy. Congrats to you both.”

And back in May, Sofia took to Instagram to congratulate Smallbone on the promotion, writing: “No words to describe how proud of you I am. You deserve everything.”

The midfielder, 24, who has been at the Saints since 2017, replied: “Couldn’t do it without you.”

Robbie Brady / Kerrie Brady

One of the senior players in the Irish squad is Preston North End winger Robbie Brady.

The 32-year-old has represented his country 64 times and last year he welcomed his third child into the world alongside wife Kerrie who is a dancer who describes herself as a 'cheerleader and wife' on Instagram.

The gorgeous WAG wrote after giving birth: “We love you doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. The final piece.”

Kerrie and Brady, parents to Halle, Louie and Marcie, are childhood sweethearts who tied the knot in 2018.

And the glamorous mum-of-three once told the Sunday Independent's Life Magazine that she never envisaged being a WAG.

She said: “As our dates went on, I kept myself busy and I was by no means chasing him. Some girls might go after a guy, but it wasn’t like I always dreamed of being with a footballer. Things between us happened very naturally, and football happened to be his job.”

Their first date happened on O’Connell Street in Dublin when they were just 15.
