Kevin Ortega will be in charge of refereeing the first match between Universitario de Deportes and Alianza Lima at the Monumental Stadium
On October 31, it was confirmed that Kevin Ortega will be the referee in charge of directing the first final between Universitario and Alianza Lima at the Monumental Stadium, this Saturday, November 4th, starting at 8:00 p.m.
According to RPP, CONAR intended for Ortega to referee the second final to be held at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium; however, the Peruvian referee will travel to Saudi Arabia to take charge of the match between Al Ittihad and Abha for the Saudi Professional League.
The judge, highly valued by CONMEBOL for tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, will be in charge of imparting justice in the first classic match in 14 years that defines a national title. It is worth mentioning that the second leg at Matute, also scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m., will be played on Wednesday, November 8th.
