After drawing against Paraguay away and losing at home to Brazil, the Peruvian National Team will look for their first three points in Santiago. In the Chilean capital, the 'Bicolor' has never been able to achieve official victories. Today, led by Juan Reynoso, they hope to change history.

The last time Peru and Chile faced each other in the Qualifiers was in the 2022 process, when our team defeated the then team led by Uruguayan Martín Lasarte 2-0. On October 7, 2021, the Peruvian National Team lined up as follows.

Gallese; Advíncula, Ramos, Callens, Trauco; Aquino, Yotún, Peña, Cueva, Flores and Guerrero. Seven of the eleven starters will repeat in this new match: only Ramos, Cueva, Flores and Callens (injured) will not be in the lineup of the 'Ajedrecista'.

While in the last clash between them in Santiago, on November 13, 2020, Peru lined up as follows: Gallese; Advíncula, Araujo, Abram, Trauco; Tapia, Aquino, Yotún; Flores, Carrillo and Ruidíaz. Flores, Ruidíaz and Tapia (injured) will not be present at Estadio Monumental.
