The upcoming matches of the Peruvian National Team are getting closer and Juan Reynoso is looking to have everything under control so that nothing escapes him, taking into account that the qualifiers for the next World Cup will start in September. For this reason, this weekend he met with André Carrillo in Saudi Arabia, fulfilling a series of meetings with Peruvian footballers who play in the Saudi league.
Prior to this, he had done the same with Christofer Gonzales, with whom he met at the facilities of Al Adalah. Meanwhile, the 'Cobra' received him at the Al Hilal complex, which is why the 'Chess Player' had the opportunity to exchange words with Ramón Díaz, the coach of the team to which the Peruvian forward belongs.
"Continuing with the visits to the selected players in Saudi Arabia, the coach of the 'Bicolor', Juan Reynoso, met with André Carrillo and the coach of Al Hilal, Ramón Díaz", was the brief statement on the social networks of the Peruvian National Team.
The coach of the 'Blanquirroja' has been carrying out these activities after the friendly matches against Germany and Morocco, where they suffered a defeat and a draw, respectively. The idea of the 53-year-old coach is to closely monitor the progress of his players and talk to them about the upcoming challenges they will face.
A week ago, it was confirmed that Peru will face two interesting preparation matches against their counterparts from South Korea and Japan, both away games in Asia. In this way, the team led by 'Cabezón' will face the Koreans on Friday, June 16 in Seoul, while with the Japanese on Tuesday, June 20 in Osaka.
An opportunity for Carrillo
This Saturday, André Carrillo will have the chance to add another international title at the club level, as Al Hilal will face Urawa Red in the final of the Asian Champions League. The 'Cobra' will start on the substitute bench, but surely Ramón Díaz will give him minutes on the field. Remember that the 31-year-old player has already won this tournament twice: 2019 and 2021.
