With the '12' present in the Mewa Arena: this is how the national anthem was sung in Peru vs. Germany [VIDEO].

Sábado 25 de Marzo del 2023

The '12' of the red and white team never abandons the team. In the pre-match of Peru vs. Germany, this is how the national anthem was sung at the Mewa Arena in Mainz, allowing the 'bicolor' to feel comfortable again on German soil.

Peru and Germany once again face each other in an international friendly, which will serve the national team as part of their preparation for the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. And, as usual, the fans of the Blanquirroja who arrived at the Mewa Arena made the stadium in Maguncia vibrate, this time, singing the National Anthem.

While the players of the Peruvian National Team embraced to sing, the '12' loudly sang one of the verses of the anthem. This has become more well-known, just like singing 'Contigo Peru' every time the 'team of all' plays.

This friendly match is an important test for Juan Reynoso's players. Although the rival will play with an alternate team and with many young players, the 'Mannschaft' is a four-time world champion and will seek to celebrate in front of their people after their elimination in the group stage in Qatar 2022.

Peru vs. Germany: what's coming

After this international friendly commitment at the Mewa Arena, the Peruvian National Team will have action again next week when they face Morocco. The match is scheduled for this Tuesday, March 28th at 2:30 p.m. (Peru time) at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium, located in the city of Madrid.

This will be the second time that the 'Blanquirroja' faces the Moroccans, since the first time was in the group stage of the 1970 World Cup. On that occasion, our team won 3-0 with a brace from Teófilo Cubillas and a goal from Roberto Chale, a result of great importance to qualify for the next round.

Germany, on the other hand, will also play on Tuesday, March 28th against Belgium at the Rhein Energie Stadium. The match is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and will serve for both teams to continue evaluating their selected players for a new process, especially the Belgians, who are now under the command of Domenico Tedesco after the departure of Roberto Martínez.
