Bernardo Cuesta, the number 9 of Melgar de Arequipa, finalist of Liga 1 in Peru, started the process of becoming a naturalized Peruvian in order to have a Peruvian passport. RAMÓN QUIROGA ARANCIBIA
Until now, they call him the 'Crazy' Quiroga because of his eccentricities on the field. He is already 72 years old, most of which he spent in Peru, although without losing his Argentine accent. He started at Rosario Central in the early 70s and in 1972, at just 22 years old, he was hired by Sporting Cristal, as the starting goalkeeper, Luis Rubiños, went on the so-called 'tour of the five continents' with the team coached by Lajos Baroti.
