It should be noted that through a Twitter post, the entity detailed that the Sismate tests will be carried out from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. So it urged the population not to be alarmed when their cell phone vibrates or rings.
In this line, alert messages will be sent to users of the four mobile phone operators with 2G, 3G, and 4G coverage, through the technology called 'Cell Broadcast'.
Thousands of users reported through social networks, who expressed their surprise because many did not receive them and others were taken by surprise.
What is Sismate?
It is a technological tool that allows sending alert messages (text, sound, screen lighting, and vibration) to citizens who have a cellphone through the networks of the operating companies.
