Professional wrestling is going through one of its best periods worldwide, as there are a large number of options for all fans' tastes. AEW and NJPW, two of the biggest companies in this industry, have joined forces and announced the realization of a joint event.
Although All Elite Wrestling has been disrupting the wrestling world for three years, thanks to Tony Khan, the wrestlers have appeared in other companies and even accumulated titles. However, until now, no company had worked together on a special show: Forbidden Door.

In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, the president of AEW introduced Takami Ohbari, the boss of NJPW, to make a big announcement. However, they were interrupted first by Adam Cole and then by Jay White, two of the most visible faces of each company. In that line, a match between The Undisputed Elite and The Bullet Club was confirmed.

The event called Forbidden Door will take place after Double or Nothing on Sunday, June 26, at the United Center in Chicago. For this reason, several superstars will make surprise appearances during the time remaining until the event.
Wrestlers like Chris Jericho, KENTA, Jon Moxley, Yuji Nagata, and Minoru Suzuki have already appeared in both organizations; so, it is expected that several of their colleagues will do the same. It should be mentioned that The Forbidden Door will be part of the 50th Anniversary of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
