The '12' turns its back on Venezuela ahead of clash with the Peruvian National Team

In the Olympic Stadium in Caracas, on November 16, Venezuela's support for the Qualifiers towards Qatar 2022 waned as they prepare to face Peru in the 14th match.

Vinotinto fans cannot tolerate the high ticket prices for the match against Peru in the Qualifiers and took to social media to express their outrage against the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF).

From Caracas, Venezuela, the Vinotinto announced the sale of tickets for the match: "We are ready to come back home and we want to count on you. Buy your ticket for the match against the Peruvian team by visiting the website," reads the tweet on their Twitter account.

And on the same Venezuela post, fans took the opportunity to unleash their anger against their national team, which is currently at the bottom of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers table, and called them "mediocre".

"In Caracas, not even with free tickets people come to watch Vinotinto" and "What a problem with the FVF. With a mediocre 'Vinotinto', there may be people who pay in dollars to watch it," were some of the harsh comments from the fans.

Venezuela vs Peru Tickets: What are the prices?

According to the Ticketmundo website, in charge of ticket sales, prices are $45 (181 soles) for the main stands and $20 (80 soles) for the popular stands when the minimum wage in turbulent Venezuela is still $2.4 (9 soles).
