Denmark, rival of the Peruvian National Team in the 2018 World Cup, looks with suspense the injury of its goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The goalkeeper injured his ankle last Saturday while playing with his team, Leicester City, against Burnley for the 34th round of the Premier League.
Kasper Schmeichel collided with an opponent in the 86th minute and felt injured, so he had to be replaced by Ben Hamer.
Claude Puel, coach of Leicester City, commented on the injury of his player in a press conference.
"We will see if Kasper Schmeichel can prepare for our next match, but we are not sure. At the moment, he cannot train with us," he said.
It is worth remembering that Denmark and Peru share Group C of the Russia World Cup along with France and Australia.
