Right now it is not clear how Shane McMahon will make it to WrestleMania. His rivalries with both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn seem to be cooling down, as well as his apparent rivalry with Daniel Bryan. At the moment, the General Manager of the blue brand seems to have no place in the grand event.
Will Daniel Bryan vs. Shane McMahon happen at WrestleMania?
It's not official information, as it is based on conversations within the company, but Brad Shepard from Bodyslam has commented the following about the future of the General Manager:
"I suppose we'll start discovering his future at Fastlane or shortly after. It seems that plans have recently changed and now it seems that Shane McMahon's opponent will be Dolph Ziggler. From what I've been told, that's what they are looking to do. Shane has to have his match and Dolph has never had a singles match at WrestleMania. It will be a good match. We should start seeing this build-up soon."
We'll have to see what happens tomorrow at Fastlane if the son of Vince McMahon somehow influences the WWE Championship match, possibly preventing Dolph Ziggler from winning. All odds point to Ziggler not leaving the event with the title, and if he wants a spot at WrestleMania, this would be a good option.
