An argument for Marcos Llorente
Part of the Betis fans have Real Madrid as their second team and surely they will support the white team tonight against PSG in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. But within Betis there is another reason to support the French team, and that argument has a name: Marcos Llorente. The green and white club still longs for the midfielder and believes that if the Bernabeu stays with only one competition, the league, there would be a possibility of obtaining his loan until the end of the season. The club made an attempt last summer and also until the end of the winter transfer window.
After Zou Feddal's serious injury, Betis can register the Moroccan defender this season and then sign new players, either Spanish players or unemployed foreign players. In Heliopolis, they prefer the first option because with only three months of competition left, there would not be enough time for the adaptation of the new player, preferably a defensive midfielder who can also play as a center-back.
After confirming that the RFEF regulations made Dani Ceballos' return impossible, Betis tried to get Madrid to let Llorente leave until the end of the transfer window. But Zidane insisted: no reinforcements, no departures. If PSG eliminates Madrid, Marcos will have even fewer opportunities to play...
