Now it's time to talk a little more about the departure of Summer Rae, who posted a statement on Twitter stating that she has enjoyed every moment lived in the company, and that no one can take away what she has achieved.

But now we have more news. Dave Meltzer reported on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that in WWE they do not want the gladiator to continue playing the same role they wanted her to play when she arrived.

The plan since her debut in 2011 was not for her to be a wrestler like Alexa Bliss or Charlotte, but to be an accompanist or have another non-wrestling role. In fact, we saw for a while how she accompanied the former United States Champion Rusev.

However, when the Bulgarian gladiator's wife, Lana, revealed their relationship on social media, the company couldn't do anything to maintain the storyline with Summer Rae, giving her other different roles that were not very successful.

WWE also wanted Fandango's former accomplice to have a role similar to that of recognized figures Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson, but now they have decided not to continue with this plan.
