Jack Swagger, who was released from his contract earlier this year, accused WWE a week ago of trying to hinder independent companies by holding events at the same time, describing their actions as a slap in the face to those companies.

During a recent interview with FloSlam, "The All-American" continues to talk about his former company, sending a message to wrestlers who are considering, like he did, leaving WWE in search of more opportunities.

"You just have to remember that in WWE, you are doing a corporate job, so you have to make sure that you are going to have certain benefits before leaving it. It is really important to have your mortgage or insurance under control before making the decision. Such things become difficult when you are an independent star."

The former WWE Heavyweight Champion also talks about how his career in the independent circuit has been after leaving the company.

"Essentially, it's like starting over. I had to regain the attention of all the fans, so for me, it was like starting from scratch. But from there, everything has gone as expected. Most fans are happy to see me, so I'm happy. The hospitality I receive at every show is incredible. It's great to work with each of the guys and girls, and every event is amazing."

And he also talks about a possible debut in mixed martial arts, as he claims to have been training and that it could be a great opportunity.

"Seeing how popular combat sports are now, you realize that it can be a great opportunity, and also a great risk. Because the reward would also be greater. I have been training to get in shape. There are many things to consider. But I like what Bellator is doing. We are also talking about that."
