Villarreal Club of the Spanish League proposes friendly match against Tigres UANL to raise funds for earthquake victims in Mexico

Miguel Ángel Garza, CEO of the university team, said he received a call from the 'Submarino Amarillo' board for the organization of this match.

"I received a call from Villarreal Club, they are willing to play a match and donate all the ticket sales to Club Tigres on an available date as an idea to contribute something, we'll have to see what happens during the day," said the executive in a press conference.

Despite the good intentions of both teams, scheduling the match would be complicated due to the pending league match against Atlas, as well as other commitments in the United States.
