Former Peruvian football player, José Velásquez, was interviewed by Argentinian panelists following his controversial statements claiming that the referee of the Peru vs Argentina match will be bribed by the home team.

In an interview with the newspaper Trome, José Velásquez had offensive words against the upcoming rival of the Peruvian national team, stating that they play dirty: "the Argentinians are dirty, they are going to bribe the referee," he said.
