Mateus Uribe will be a new player for Tigres UANL, said the president of Atlético Nacional, Andrés Botero, in an interview with 'Dueños del Balón'.
"There are a few details missing to give the go-ahead, we are fine-tuning the contract; I hope that in a couple of days we achieve what we want with the two clubs, one from Mexico and one from Argentina. They have decided to leave the team," Botero launched about Uribe and Andrés Felipe Ibargüen.
"To not beat around the bush because they are already starting to speculate on names; are they Racing and Tigres?" Botero questions. He responded with "correct, they are Racing and Tigres."
Andrés Botero wants to leave behind the departures of his key players, as "they put a lot of pressure on us, really from all sides, both from the player and the agents, but it is already a thing of the past."
It is expected that Uribe will reach an agreement for his arrival at the team led by Ricardo 'Tuca' Ferretti before the start of the Apertura 2017 Tournament of the Liga MX.
