Andrew Luck shines in impressive return as Colts rout Jets

Andrew Luck looked almost perfect in his return after a concussion, throwing four touchdown passes in the game where the Indianapolis Colts crushed the New York Jets 41-10.

Dwayne Allen caught three of Luck's four touchdown passes, as Luck did not have to work much against such a dysfunctional team that was booed from start to finish by the spectators who didn't even fill up MetLife Stadium.

Luck missed the previous game, a loss to Pittsburgh, while under the NFL concussion protocol. But over the weekend, the league gave the green light, and the quarterback returned in style, in primetime television.

With the victory, Indianapolis (6-6) tied with Tennessee and Houston for the top spot in the AFC South Division.

Allen and T.Y. Hilton were the main targets of Luck's passes, as he completed 22 of 28 passes for 278 yards.

Indianapolis toyed with the Jets (3-9) from the start, as Jeremy Ross received the opening kickoff and only brought the ball to the 11-yard line. After three downs, Luck had the ball. And seven plays later, he found Allen wide open, walking into the end zone to start the feast.
