Cañeros defeat Charros and tie the series

In a forgettable night for the White and Blue defense, Cañeros secured the series against the Jalisco Charros. Two home runs and two runs on bases loaded were seen in the second game between the teams from Guadalajara and Mochis, a game that the green team won with a shutout of eight to zero.

A bad second inning by starting pitcher Tyler Alexander was enough for Cañeros to get ahead in the score by achieving their first five runs of the night. The scoring began with a single to left field by Rodolfo Amador that brought Juan Carlos Linares home, but this would only be the beginning of the punishment.

With the bases loaded, Alexander couldn't get out of trouble when Sebastián Valle stepped up to the plate. The Mochis slugger negotiated the walk and the second run of the night came in on Saúl Soto's spikes.

Still with the bases loaded in the second inning, Juan Carlos Gamboa hit a double that brought Jake Fox and Rodolfo Amador home. This put an end to Alexander's time on the mound in Jalisco, and he was replaced by Manuel Flores, who also suffered from the green bats immediately.

With Flores in control, a sacrifice hit by Isaac Rodríguez put the fifth run on the scoreboard for Mochis. Sebastián Valle scored for the home team and there was already a significant gap between the Sinaloa team and the team from Guadalajara.

Two complete innings passed without any news on the scoreboard, calm had returned to Charros but it was only temporary, as in the fifth inning Leandro Castro hit the ball with revenge and sent it out of the park to left field. With his home run, Castro reached home plate alone, putting the sixth run on Charros' face.

Already in the sixth inning and with the bases loaded once again, Julio César Félix hit Juan Carlos Linares, and Isaac Rodríguez made it to home plate. For the second time of the night, Cañeros scored on bases loaded.

To close a terrible night for the defense of Jalisco, Jesús Arredondo hit a new home run that left the park to right field. The green team decisively secured the series against Homar Rojas' team.
