MTB Laguna Third Challenge
This Saturday the numbers for the Third Multimedios Laguna MTB Challenge will be given out, the great cycling event of the region.
The package pick-up will take place from 13:00 to 20:00 hours at the Marriott Hotel in Torreón. It is mandatory for the competitor to present their payment receipt in order to collect the package. Otherwise, they will lose all rights derived from their registration, as packages will not be delivered on the day of the competition, without exception.
There will also be the last available registrations for the public in the different races.
In addition, there will be a pre-race meeting on the same Saturday at 19:00 hours inside the Marriott Hotel, where important points of the competition will be announced and details of the route and general doubts will be explained.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 places in all categories, as well as a prize pool to be distributed among all the winners.
The competition will take place this Sunday starting at 08:00 hours, with the start at Plaza Mayor in this city and the finish line at the Cenobio Ruiz Martínez Ciclopista in Lerdo.
Cyclists must present a mountain bike in good condition and must wear a helmet, gloves, and goggles, which are mandatory for any of the three different distances available according to the category they belong to.
Group A will cover the 100-kilometer track, Group B will cover 70 kilometers, Group C will cover 40 kilometers. There will also be a family ride of 20 kilometers.
The categories in Group A (100 kilometers) are: Men's Elite, Women's Elite, Advanced Women, Advanced Men, Men's Master +45, Intermediate Men, and Intermediate Women.
For Group B (70 kilometers) the categories are: Beginners Men, Beginners Women, Beginners Men Master +45, and Youth Men -18 years old.
In Group C (40 kilometers) there will be two categories: Urban Men MTB and Urban Women MTB.
There will be chip loan only for Groups A, B, and C, bike number for them, finisher medal, hydration during the journey and at the end. All cyclists will participate in the raffle of televisions, trips, and more surprises.
