Work never stops for Santos Laguna
Santos Laguna doesn't stop working, as they don't intend to give anything away and polish every detail prior to Wednesday night's match against Necaxa at the Victoria Stadium in Aguascalientes, a semifinal match in the Copa Mx.
The team showed up to work on Sunday with the intention of not losing momentum and staying focused on the goal of winning and securing a spot in the final.
One person who is more than happy with the team is the Colombian forward, Edwuin Stiven Cetré Angulo, who made his professional debut last Sunday, February 25th, during the match corresponding to the 10th round of the Liga MX against Cruz Azul, a game that took place at the Corona Stadium in the Santos Modelo Territory.
Regarding his adaptation to the Santos Laguna First Team, the 20-year-old player mentioned: "Everyone has welcomed me since I arrived, they demand the best from me in training sessions, which helps me a lot because it is very important to me," he said.
"Personally, I am very happy because I have received more minutes from Coach Robert Dante Siboldi. I have a lot of confidence from my teammates. We have to keep working to maintain this level," he said.
He highlighted the current moment at Santos, looking towards the final stretch of the Clausura 2018 Tournament: "The team is in a very good position, despite the loss. These things happen, we know the objective we have, everything is very clear. What happened in the previous match, it's good that it happened now and not in what's coming, which is the playoffs," he concluded.
