Bills of Buffalo reach agreement with New Era Cap to rename stadium

The Buffalo Bills announced that a seven-year agreement has been closed with New Era Cap to rename the NFL team's stadium as New Era Field.

"Having the name of New Era associated with the Buffalo Bills organization is an honor. Our brands not only share a hometown, but also share a long history in the world of sports," said Chris Koch, President and CEO of the cap-producing company. "The energy and spirit of the Pegula family have had an incredible impact on the community. We are excited to start a new chapter in the history of the Bills and to show the world what this city, this team, and American football mean to our brand."

Regarding the agreement for the new venue name, Terry Pegula, owner and CEO of the American football franchise, commented that it was an important move due to the level of quality that the company has. "It was important for the Bills organization to rename their stadium with a brand that makes sense. By joining with New Era, a meaningful partnership is created, on many levels."

In addition, it was announced that starting on September 15th, the day the Bills have their first home game, a new collection of caps will be launched, which will be exclusively available at the stadium.

The contract will expire in 2023 and New Era will have the right to negotiate first with the club to maintain the naming rights of the stadium.
