QPR have agreed a deal to sign Karamoko Dembélé from French club Brest and are also interested in attacking midfielder Koki Saito, who is currently with Belgian outfit Lommel.
Dembélé (pictured above) was born in south London and raised in Scotland.
QPR were interested in him while he was at Celtic prior to Brest signing him in 2022.
The 21-year-old impressed on loan at Blackpool last season, prompting a number of Championship clubs to pursue him this summer.
And Rangers look set to sign him in a deal potentially worth around £2.2m after add-ons.
Saito, 22, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Dutch top-flight side Sparta Rotterdam.
He has recently featured for his country at the Olympics – Japan lost to Spain in the quarter-finals.
Rangers have been discussing a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent move next summer.
