The Peruvian athlete finished the first race of the day in 32nd place out of 37 participants, and the second race in 27th place.

The national athlete finished in 37th place in the first race of the day and 40th place out of 46 in the second race.

Both Paloma Schmidt and Stefano Peschiera will compete in two more races tomorrow on Tuesday. Both participants have to compete in ten races (two per day) until Saturday, August 13. They will rest on Sunday and on Monday, August 15, they will compete in the final for the gold, silver, or bronze medal if they qualify.
