KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - On Saturday, the 4th annual Puppy Bowl wagged on at Kansas City’s ‘Bar K.’
People and their pups headed to the bar for fun games complete with puppy-approved toys, treats, footballs, and more.
Some of the winning pups got a prize as well.
“It’s just a fun festive thing that we can do we always try to tie the dogs into other events that people do on a regular basis and of course Super Bowl is such a big part of our culture especially here in Kansas City and we thought how fun to have a puppy bowl this is the fourth year we have been doing it and it just gets more and more popular every year,” said Bar K Co-Founder, Leib Dodell.
Melissa’s Second Chance and The Rescue Project brought in some adoptable puppies and the KSDS Assistance Dogs Inc. puppies made a special appearance.
The KC Frenchie Club also helped put together the big celebration with the Chiefs Kingdom fans and their pets all in attendance.
