Ryan Fitzpatrick promises to go shirtless on TNF set if Bills’ Josh Allen does this vs. Buccaneers

Fitzpatrick wants to see Josh Allen fired up on Thursday Night Football to the point where he's willing to go shirtless on the broadcast.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went shirtless once at Highmark Stadium during a Buffalo Bills game and he’s willing to do it again.

This time, however, Fitzpatrick won’t be in the crowd with the Bills Mafia. He’ll be on set for Amazon’s Thursday Night Football.

Fitzpatrick, appearing on the QB Room podcast with Josh Allen’s trainer Jordan Palmer and Bills backup quarterback Kyle Allen, told the hosts what he wanted to see in primetime on Thursday night from Josh Allen.

“He doesn’t have to hurdle anybody,” Fitzpatrick said. “He doesn’t have to run over anybody, but I want to see him fired up on the sideline. I don’t want to see him just sitting there, even after a good play. He’s just become a little too calm for me and calm is like not Josh. That’s not where he needs to be. Just get the guy fired up a little bit.”

While the quarterback affectionately known as Fitzmagic originally said Allen didn’t have to run anybody over, he told the hosts that he was willing to go shirtless if Allen did so against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, another team Fitzpatrick previously played for in his career.

“I would love to see him run somebody over and give a first down signal,” Fitzpatrick told the QB Room podcast. “And chest bump a lineman and just see the Bills fans go crazy and I will take my shirt off on set. That’s what gets me juiced up. If there’s a hurdle and a run over with a touchdown or a big first down sign where he skips into it, like that’s something that’s going to get me going. Buffalo needs it. Buffalo needs this, Kyle (Allen).”

Kyle Allen promised to pass the word on to Josh ahead of tomorrow night’s game.

The Bills Mafia will certainly be tuning in to see if Buffalo (4-3) can get back on track on Thursday Night Football and if Allen get Fitzpatrick to go shirtless once more at Highmark Stadium under the lights.
