Steps to create a passkey or access code on WhatsApp
Go to the settings of your WhatsApp account and check if you have access codes available. If so, you will see the Access Codes option. Once you are in the menu, select Create Access Code. WhatsApp passkeys are used to verify a person's identity in a different and secure way.
- Open the WhatsApp application on your mobile phone
- Go to Settings and then Access Codes
- Select "Create Access Codes"
- Follow the instructions on the screen
It is important to note that WhatsApp passkeys will only be used when you reinstall the application, as this is the only way to verify that you are the owner of the provided phone number.
