CLINTON - The Clinton River Queens were swept by the North Scott Lancers on Tuesday night as the two teams met in MAC conference play.
North Scott took the first two sets by the final score of 25-13 before winning set three 25-17 for the sweep.
The Lancers are now 17-3 on the year and are tied atop the MAC with Pleasant Valley. Those two teams will meet in Eldridge next Tuesday night.
For Clinton they were led offensively by Julia Suessmith who had four kills. Amelia Tubbs and Brooklyn Grams each added three of their own while MaLaya Irons and Quinn Nielsen each had two. Tubbs also added nine assists and nine digs.
The River Queens are now 3-16 on the year and will play at Bettendorf next Tuesday night.
