Favorable Judgment in the Case of Clara Seminara Against Comedian Enrique Espejo

After more than four years, the Judicial Power ruled in favor of Clara Seminara and sentenced comedian Enrique Espejo, also known as "Yuca," to 3 years of suspended imprisonment for inappropriate touching.

According to statements made to the media, the businesswoman presented compelling evidence to the Peruvian justice system, including WhatsApp conversations with the production and cast of the program, where they all gave different versions and contradicted each other, as well as psychological evaluations of the comedian and herself.

Why did she accuse "Yuca"?

As it is recalled, the former member of the cast of "El Wasap de JB" accused her colleague of crossing the line with her. "This happened in front of my co-workers, in the channel's patio, before a recording, and my response was as expected: two slaps, some shouting, and surely insults," Seminara recounted.

Far from finding support in her workplace, the comedian claimed that Jorge Benavides, the leader of the program, downplayed the events and chose to remove her from the show.

"At that moment, Jorge Benavides appeared, and while I was very upset, I complained to him. But calmly, surely accustomed to Mr. Espejo's lack of respect, he minimized what had happened and told him, 'Yuca, apologize.' This person's response was, 'Fine, apologize and be grateful that I didn't slap you back.' I cannot express the disgust, indignation, and helplessness I felt, and still feel," she detailed.

What did Clara Seminara say about the verdict?

Through her social networks, the model, who currently resides in Spain, celebrated the favorable ruling. "Justice may be slow, but it arrives," wrote the comedic actress in her Instagram stories.

What is Clara Seminara currently doing?

After leaving the show of Jorge Benavides, Clara Seminara decided to travel to Spain to start new comedic projects and open a Peruvian restaurant in Madrid.
