Results of the first day of Elite League 2016: Bobby Lashley annihilates the White Bull
On the first Wednesday of Elite Arena Mexico, there was a good turnout where celebrities and wrestling stars paraded on the red carpet with great fanfare. With the official logo of Lucha Azteca, the first day of the Elite League 2016 officially presented the 12 gladiators who will compete for the coveted Elite Heavyweight Championship: Carístico, Bobby Lashley, Cibernético, Último Guerrero, Atlantis, Rush, Xtreme Tiger, Juventud Guerrera, Volador Jr., Máscara Dorada, Negro Casas, and La Máscara. There will be 33 days of one-on-one matches, each fight will be worth 3 points, while draws will be worth 1 point and defeats zero points. There will be three winners and the last four will compete in punishment finals where masks or hair will be wagered.
The anticipation was overwhelming to witness the seismic main event clash between Rush and Bobby Lashley. Once both contenders entered the ring, their looks collided like meteorites. On one side, the White Bull resented with the evident ingovernable egotism that characterizes him. While the other moved his impressive muscles with the confidence of knowing himself as a star who has stepped on the best arenas in the world. The referee's command was the first colossal collision between them, in which the dark-skinned wrestler got the upper hand. Although the difference in tonnage was not much, it was evident that Bobby Lashley knew that brute force was entirely in his favor.
Faced with the power of his opponent, the White Bull had no choice but to use his well-known modus operandi: destabilize, distract, and upset the rival with his classic displays. This technique worked for him during the first part of the battle against the Black Superman, who received the worst punishment from the Mexican. Faced with such an onslaught, the crowd poured all their support for the gargantuan black man lying at the feet of the brave Rush. However, the dominion was short-lived, as Lashley unleashed all his energy and lifted Rush's entire humanity with a suspended suplex candlestick. In this way, a suplex war unfolded before our eyes like chess moves: the white wrestler applied the punishment and the black wrestler retaliated, one, two, three times the slams happened. Until a powerful necktie from Lashley left the ungovernable one motionless.
A mistake decided everything, Lashley climbed to the third rope, Rush caught his prey and shook him with a powerful corner suplex. But this was not enough to finish Bobby, and Rush knew it, so he decided to punish him with kangaroo kicks. The error came in a charge, confident the White Bull ran to apply more kangaroo kicks, at that moment, Lashley got up from where he was stunned and with an impressive spear, he attacked the White Bull, who could no longer get up from the fatal count.
