After the end of the last season of "Better Call Saul," Deadline Hollywood confirmed that Apple TV+ will be the streaming home of the new series by Vince Gilligan, creator of "Breaking Bad," and this project will be starring actress Rhea Seehorn.
The production still doesn't have an official title, but it is known that it received a direct order for two seasons.
What will Vince Gilligan's new series be about? For now, there is no synopsis for the series. Previously, it was indicated that this production would have a premise somewhat similar to "The X-Files."
The new series marks Vince's follow-up to creating "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul." It also marks Gilligan's second collaboration with "Better Call Saul" star Seehorn, who received an Emmy nomination in 2022 for her acclaimed performance in the show.
"After fifteen years, I thought it was time to take a break from writing antiheroes... and who is more heroic than the brilliant Rhea Seehorn? It's time for her to have her own show, and I feel lucky to be able to work on it with her," said Gilligan Deadline.
"And what a good symmetry to reunite with Zack Van Amburg, Jamie Erlicht, and Chris Parnell! Jamie and Zack were the first two people to say yes to 'Breaking Bad' so many years ago. They have formed a great team at Apple, and my wonderful longtime partners at Sony Pictures Television, and we are excited to be in business with them," concluded.
