In a spectacle-filled day, the stars of the MLS defeated the Liga MX in the 2022 edition of the All-Star Game with goals from Mexican Carlos Vela and Peruvian Raúl Ruidíaz .
In front of more than 19,000 spectators at Allianz Field Stadium in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the local team took the lead just three minutes into the game thanks to an excellent header from Carlos Vela, after an assist from Diego Palacios.
In the second half, the referee called a foul by Jesús Angulo on Charles Gil in the box. And from the penalty spot, Raúl Ruidíaz would score perfectly to overcome the resistance of the talented Carlos Acevedo.
Six minutes before the final whistle, Kevin Álvarez unleashed a powerful cross shot to decorate the scoreline.
