Little Camila Puse Chávez stood out in the recent cycling championship held in Amazonas, achieving first place in the sub-13 category.
Throughout the circuit specifically in the city of Bagua and in the midst of very adverse weather conditions; with temperatures of 35°C, Camila Puse not only represented the district of Olmos, but also stood out against her competitors and was crowned champion in her category.

"Thanks to God, my parents, and my sponsors like the Olmos Pro Association for the constant support they offer me. This motivates me significantly and allows me to overcome all kinds of difficulties. I am training very hard for the next competitions where I will make every effort to bring honor to the name of Olmos and Lambayeque," said Camila, who has been in this discipline for five years.
From 2019 to April 2022, Camila has won about 20 medals, including first, second, and third places, in highly contested competitions held in Chiclayo, Rioja, Piura, Santo Domingo, Laredo, Cerro Blanco, Huanchaco, Cartavio (La Libertad), Pimentel, Piura, Chulucanas, and Bagua.
Other Olimanos children who also excelled in the competition are: Elizabeth Montiel (first place in sub-11 girls), Benjamín Rodríguez (second place in sub-11 boys), and Alex Capuñay (third place in sub-11 boys).
