Louisville is among the favorites to land Camden star D.J. Wagner, and now the school has made a bold move in that direction by hiring his grandfather.
New Louisville coach Kenny Payne has hired Milt Wagner, the Camden legend who played alongside Payne on Louisville’s 1986 national championship team, as Director of Player Development, a move that would not prevent the school from recruiting D.J. Milt Wagner, 59, played high school basketball at Camden, and later became a second-round pick of the Dallas Mavericks in 1986.
