Real Sociedad signs David Silva
The Basque club announced the signing of the player on the same day the forward bid farewell to the City's fans.
Silva will wear the number 21 on his blue and white jersey, the same number he wore at Manchester City, which was left vacant by Norwegian Martin Odegaard.
The player, born in Arguineguin in 1986, joins for free after completing his contract with Manchester City. He played for the club for ten years, appearing in 435 matches, scoring 77 goals, and providing 138 assists.

Silva is currently on vacation after bidding farewell to the English team's fans on Monday, who will erect a statue in his honor at Etihad Stadium. He will join the txuriurdin squad for the upcoming season and be officially presented.

In 2010, he signed with Manchester City, where he remained for the last ten seasons until his contract ended this campaign.
