Neymar Jr joins the protests against racism and police violence in the United States

The Brazilian soccer player, Neymar Jr, joined the protests against racism and police violence in the United States by participating in the virtual campaign Black Out Tuesday promoted by celebrities.

"Black lives matter," said the Paris Saint Germain striker on his official Instagram account. The 28-year-old star of the Brazilian national team accompanied his message with two images: the first one in black, symbolizing the campaign, and the second one of one of his tattoos with the word "faith."

The brutal murder has sparked a wave of protests and violent riots in the country's major cities, which continue to this day. Therefore, some local authorities have imposed a curfew.

In addition, the soccer player's support for the protest against racism comes shortly after a Brazilian youtuber, Felipe Neto, demanded that the player take a stance on the issue.
