Transfer: Mario Mandzukic signs with Al-Duhail
The 33-year-old forward, who was barely considered by coach Maurizio Sarri at Juventus, underwent a medical examination on Monday and hours later committed to the Qatari club.
Mandzukic is thus entering the final stretch of his career after four seasons at Juventus, where he arrived from Atletico Madrid, where he played during the 2014-15 season.
The veteran Balkan forward's career is completed with two years at Bayern Munich and another two at Wolfsburg, his first experience outside Croatia, where he played at the beginning of his professional career.
The second foreign player to join Al-Duhail, after Ghanaian Bernard Mansah, has been capped 89 times for Croatia. He was the runner-up in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
