Overwatch 2 is a reality. Blizzard surprised the attendees of Blizzcon 2019 with this important announcement.

Just at the beginning of Blizzcon 2019, Overwatch 2 was presented, just as the leaks anticipated. This new game will be the total evolution of what we already saw in the first installment. The graphics will be improved and new game modes will be added.

Unfortunately, not even the project director knows when it will be released. Moreover, the price at which it will be available for sale was not specified.

"I don't know. I have no idea," Jeff Kaplan replied to PCGamer's question. "For example, let us make it great, that's what matters most to us. We don't have a set date in mind," he added.

To this, he added a discouraging statement about the near future of Overwatch. According to him, the development team will "go dark" for now, as they will focus on the development of the sequel.

So we will have to wait a few weeks to see if new content arrives for the game that is currently on the Battle.net client.
