The actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who played Dr. Strange in Avengers: Endgame, is in favor of producing a movie dedicated to all the superheroines of Marvel, a project that would be based on the 2015 comics A-Force.
A-Force is a 15-issue series that takes place in an alternate timeline during the events of Secret Wars. The team of superheroines is composed of Captain Marvel, Medusa, She-Hulk, Singularity, Dazzler, Nico Minoru, and Dazzler Thor, among many others.
The sorcerer from Avengers: Endgame showed his support for this hypothetical project, which, if realized, would only be part of the MCU in two or three years.
"Yes, do it, why not? There is definitely space for that. We are seeing the rise of the superheroine and why not? It would be great", said the actor in an interview.
The project of a Marvel work with only superheroines was originally mentioned by Brie Larson (Captain Marvel in the MCU). "What that means, I have no idea. You know, I'm not in charge of the future of Marvel, but it's something that we really care about and love, and I feel that if enough people in the world talk about how much they want it, maybe it will happen", she pointed out.
