Pokémon GO has trainers excited with new content. Now, the news comes from Professor Willow and his recent findings in the fictional world of Pokémon. It's not a new creature, but some villains who will make your progress harder.

The Team Rocket was already presenting themselves in the Pokéstops as the villains to beat. At the same time, Niantic was teasing elements of the next patch with found items like the Rocket Radar. Well, now we have the first leader of these villains.

"Today we encountered the first leader of Team GO Rocket. We needed to test the Rocket Radar prototype. Blanche has been instrumental in its development, so of course, I included the Team Mystic leader to help me as much as possible. We got to work hoping to test its tracking capabilities, but the prototype kept giving errors, leading us aimlessly to random Pokéstops. Blanche was very upset, which usually happens when things don't go as planned in their plans. Then, something unexpected happened. Instead of finding a Team GO Rocket leader, one of them found us!

A muscular man with a beard easily recognizable in the shape of a Poké Ball approached us. It was Cliff, and he looked just like he appeared in the corrupted files on my computer. His first words were a warning, he told us we were "entering Team GO Rocket territory". His attitude was as serious and intimidating as his photograph.

He was reluctant to fight us and asked us to retreat in a surprisingly friendly tone. It was obvious that it was going to be his only kind gesture and that he would not refuse a combat challenge. Blanche was frozen. I made the decision to withdraw; we were not prepared for a face-to-face battle.

Back safely in the lab, Blanche confirmed my suspicions: she couldn't determine the best course of action during our encounter with Cliff. Added to the frustration of the prototype malfunction, it was evident that Blanche needed some more time to reassess the situation.
