Tomorrow, a state-of-the-art car Eurofighter could become the fastest vehicle in the world. It will have to reach a speed of 1600 kilometers per hour, surpassing the current world record of 1287 km/h.
The challenge will take place in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. A surface area of 22 million square meters has been meticulously cleaned by hand to avoid any possible setbacks. 16,500 tons of rocks have been removed to create a perfect track.
According to experts, the first test run took place in England, where it reached a speed of 320 km/h.
