The mobile gaming market is the future, as we saw with the impressive success of Pokémon GO, Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, among others. Well, League of Legends doesn't want to be left behind, so it announced its mini version for Android and iOS.
This announcement came during the worldwide celebration of LoL's 10th anniversary. They shared the new games they have been developing in recent years through a live stream on Twitch and YouTube.
Perhaps one that attracted the most attention is Wild Rift, a reduced version of League of Legends for mobile devices. The same company has confirmed that it is not a 'port', but a completely new game.
It will not have all the champions or all the mechanics. Additionally, the map will be much smaller and the bases will have fewer structures. With this title, they will compete against other games like Arena of Valor.
"And Dota 2, when?" Let's remember that Valve responded quickly to the Auto Chess trend with its own game, Dota Underlords. However, the company does not seem to want to compete with other MOBAs on Android and iOS mobile platforms.
