Dendi, the popular Dota 2 player sat down for a long interview with Yana Khymchnko, who works for Navi, and was able to talk to Danil about his performance at The International 2019. He also revealed his plans for the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC).
"I have very serious plans for the season" Dendi commented. "After a while and many people pushing me towards it, I decided to do something, so I'm planning to create my own team/organization to develop it".
It is worth noting that when Dendi says that he is looking to found an organization, he means it. The player stated that he is looking for investors and sponsors, rather than simply gathering a group of players to compete in qualifiers. He declined to comment on some details, but it seems he is committed to going in a similar direction to his former teammate Clement "Puppey" Ivanov in Team Secret or like Jacky "EternalEnVy" Mao.
While Dendi has bold plans, he seems to be a long way from achieving them. Near the end of the interview, Dendi mentioned that his favorite role is midlaner and that he is willing to play other roles (except carry) for the sake of the team.
The first Major of the 2019-20 DPC has been planned for November. According to VPEsports, the qualifiers should be played between the third and fourth week of September. Dendi will try to qualify for the first Major, we will be attentive to the team he will present and future news.
