At the latest All Elite Wrestling event, called All Out, Chris Jericho made history by becoming the first AEW World Heavyweight Champion. This came after defeating Adam Page in an intense match.
However, the joy didn't last long as Chris Jericho reported the theft of the AEW World Title a couple of hours later. And although it may seem like part of a storyline, the complaint was made to the Tallahassee Police in Florida.
The Tallahassee Police in Florida informed that the robbery occurred at the Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant. This happened after renting a limousine, as indicated in the police report.
"The victim stated that they arrived at the Millionaire Club Airport terminal and placed the belt inside their rented limousine. The driver then took them to the restaurant to have dinner, while the victim stayed inside. The driver returned to the airport because the victim had taken the wrong suitcase. When the driver picked up the victim again, the belt was no longer there. Officers searched both locations, but were unsuccessful."
After a few hours, Jericho spoke out about the incident. "I will launch a worldwide investigation, hiring the best agents to find the person who committed this crime. And trust me, as the AEW champion, I will recover my title," he stated.
