The actor and comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will be hosting this year's MTV VMA, the gala that celebrates the best music videos of the year and will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The ceremony will pay tribute to the biggest artists in music and fans will celebrate the most iconic videos of the year with great performances on August 26, 2019.
"We are excited to have the incredible and talented Sebastian Maniscalco as the host this year... His humorous take on relatable topics will make this year's show truly unforgettable," said the executive producer of MTV VMA, Bruce Gillmer.
The 45-year-old actor, Sebastian Maniscalco, was named comedian of the year by Billboard last year and was on Forbes' list of the highest-paid comedians in 2017 and 2018.
Currently, Sebastian Maniscalco is on a tour across the United States with a show and will soon appear in Martin Scorsese's film "The Irishman."

It is worth noting that the actor, who recently made his film debut in the award-winning movie "Green Book," confirmed the official announcement of his participation in the MTV VMA during Jimmy Fallon's show "The Tonight Show."
