Guns N’ Roses former drummer, Steven Adler (54 years old), would be hospitalized after stabbing himself in the stomach, according to specialized website TMZ.
As explained by the aforementioned media, the police and paramedics arrived at the musician's home in Los Angeles last Thursday night after an emergency call was made from the same house.
Medical services found that Steven Adler had "suffered a stab wound to the stomach." Apparently, he was taken to a nearby hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries," and it is believed that no one else was involved in the incident.
In addition, it is presumed that this attack may be related to Steven Adler's strong drug addiction, which led to his expulsion from the Guns N’ Roses band in 1990.
Previously, Steven Adler confessed that he had attempted suicide several times as a result of the depression he experienced after being expelled from the rock group.
However, Adler continued his musical career and performed a couple of nights ago in Biloxi, Mississippi, and last Thursday in Houston, Texas. Likewise, his next concert is scheduled for July 12 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.
The musician is mainly known for his years as part of the band that performed "Welcome To The Jungle" and participated in the recording of the albums "Appetite For Destruction" and "G N' R Lies".
